Thank you for pointing out that “No wonder Ald. Konkel crosses swords with the Salvation Army regularly” is an analogy. If you hadn’t pointed out that it was an analogy I would have been concerned that Ald. Konkel was actually attacking the Salvation Army with a bladed weapon. I appreciate the clarification.
